How to Install A Concealed Hinge

A concealed hinge, also called a hidden hinge or an invisible hinge, is a kind of hinge that lays flush on the interior of a door and the surface of the door to provide a smooth and elegant outer appearance. Concealed hinges for architectural applications are capable of supporting doors weighing 20kgs up to 200kgs, which makes it possible to install on the heavy doors and home gates.

First, put the frame end of the hinge into the slot of the door frame, then tighten with 2 pieces of wooden tapping screws or machine screws in certain suitable length.

Next, put the hinge of door end into the slotted wooden door, then loosen the upper locking screws slightly when necessary for adjusting the height and tighten with 2 pieces of wooden tapping screws or machine screws in certain suitable length.

Finally, fix the frame end of the hinge with the door end, then adjust it to the appropriate dimensions, and finally tighten the decorated cover plates.
