Back-to-back pull Handles are installed as a connected pair, with one handle positioned on each side of the same door. Bolts pass through prepared holes in the door and join the two handles together. This creates a coordinated gripping point on both sides and makes the design particularly suitable for glass, timber, aluminium, and metal entrance doors.

A double sided pull handle does not usually retract a latch by itself. It is commonly combined with a separate lock, patch fitting, Floor Spring, magnetic catch, or door-closing system.
Two or more holes are prepared in the door according to the handle’s centre-to-centre fixing distance. The connecting bolts pass through these holes and secure one handle to the other.
On Glass Doors, protective gaskets or sleeves separate the metal parts from the glass. Their dimensions must match the glass thickness and drilled holes. Direct contact between an unsuitable metal edge and tempered glass can create concentrated stress.
For timber and metal doors, the fixing length must accommodate the complete door thickness. Internal reinforcement may be required when the door surface alone cannot support repeated pulling forces.

Handle dimensions should remain proportional to the door. A large entrance panel may require a longer grip, while a compact shower door needs a smaller design with suitable projection.
The overall length describes the full size of the handle, but it does not identify the fixing positions. Buyers must also confirm the hole spacing, bar diameter, projection, fixing thread, door thickness range, and required clearance.
For replacement orders, the existing hole distance is especially important. Tempered glass cannot be redrilled after production, so the new handle must fit the original preparation unless the glass panel is replaced.
Stainless steel is commonly used for back to back handles because it offers a clean appearance and practical corrosion resistance. The material grade should be selected according to whether the door is located indoors, outdoors, near the coast, or inside a humid bathroom.
Satin finishes help conceal fingerprints and minor handling marks. Polished finishes create a brighter surface, while black, bronze, gold, and other decorative finishes can support specific interior themes. Physical finish samples help control colour and texture across large orders.
Both handles must align vertically or horizontally according to the drawing. Bolts should be tightened evenly without placing excessive pressure on glass or deforming the door surface.
After installation, the door should move freely and the handles should remain stable under normal pulling force. Inspect the clearance between the handle and frame, wall, lock, or adjacent glass panel throughout the full opening range.
